For those who are battling with Life's storms or if you are on the verge of losing hope, this book is written to motivate and inspire you to ignite your praying powers. Fear not for you have not been given the spirit of fear.

In times of adversity, even Christians forget the promises of our heavenly father, "I will never forsake you." From the diary and perspective of a widow, find out how Dr. Lilian I. Asomugha discloses her close walk with her maker, using her experiences to encourage others.

Through faithful prayers, believing and trusting in God, she was able to turn her adversity into advantage and her obstacles became her challenging opportunities to succeed in her quest. Her experiences and those of others that she encountered go beyond doubt to prove that prayer works and that in every adversity, God plants seeds of equal or greater benefit - for those that trust Him.

Dr. Lilian I. Asomugha was born and raised by Christian parents in Eastern Nigeria. In the mid 70's, she came to the United States of America and studied pharmacy in The University of Texas at Austin; she also received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the College of Naturopathy in Warsaw, Indiana. Following the sudden death of her husband in 1994, the emptiness and hopelessness of adversity prompted her determination to be the best single parent for her children and to reach out to the afflicted. Her passion to share the goodness of God in times of adversity is her strength.

As an entrepreneur, a Leader, motivational writer/speaker, this widow and dynamic mother of four children has founded and co-founded several non-profit support groups. She is well known and respected among the Nigerian / Nigeria - Igbo communities and her church families in Southern California.

Parenting Without Tears
Dr. Lilian I. Asomugha, PD., DNM.
$20.00

Parenting Without Tears is designed to portray the role of women and mothers in family upbringing. The author, Dr. Lilian I. Asomugha splits the work into two general parts, encompassing six chapters, enabling a cohesive presentation to the reader.

She examines the different concepts of the ideal family and explains how "The Fall in the Garden of Eden" impacted Today's Family. She further explains that-"The word family exists only with those few who are striving to keep God's commands... When a father feels that he has had it and it is enough, he walks out on every one. When mother thinks that she can no longer handle it, she dumps the children on a handy relative and off she goes."

  • Readers will find out why God created the ideal family.
  • The importance of family values.
  • Why people fail in parenting.
  • The role modern technology has played.
  • Why it is important to include God in your parenting schedule.
Asomugha points the way to the role of models of maternity who have done the job right- showing that Parenting without Tears incorporates the life of faith in its portrayal. Single parenting is a challenge, that does not spell doom but rather like all other forms of parenting, the end justifies the means.

Born in Eastern Nigeria from a Christian family of twelve children, Dr. Lilian I. Asomugha embraced the joy and benefit of a large nuclear family unit.

As a pharmacist who also studied naturopathic medicine, she is described as a prolific writer and a motivational speaker who uses her experiences and the opportunity her profession affords her to uplift and inspire others.

She is the author of the newly released, fast selling motivational book, "The Advent of a New Hope", a must read for all people.

"Parenting is my passion," she says. "It is a gift to every woman from the time of creation." - Our children are our future, she writes. "If we want a better future, we must raise better citizens."
