OWIN Board Members include five men and women who are highly motivated and supportive of the goals and objectives of the Foundation.
Lilian Asomugha, PD, DNM.
The Chairperson of the Board, Dr. Lilian I. Asomugha, is the Founder and President of the Foundation. She is a pharmacist and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She is also a naturopath obtaining her degree from the College of Naturopathy in Warsaw, Indiana. She is a widow with a passion for helping the less advantaged widows and orphans of the rural areas of the world. She has founded and co-founded several other non-profit organizations that support the poor and needy. Dr. Asomugha is a prolific writer and has published two books. She is a motivational speaker, involved in several community and Church activities. She is an entrepreneur and owns a pharmaceutical business, the New Hope Pharmacy, Inc. in Southern California.
Chisara N. Asomugha, MD, MPH.
Chisara Asomugha, MD, MPH, is a Pediatrician and the Vice President of OWIN Foundation, Inc. She holds a BA degree in History from Stanford University and has Medical Degree from the Duke University School of Medicine. She is also an alumni of the University of North Carolina School of Public Health. She completed her residency at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in southwest Pennsylvania. She was recently selected to the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program at Yale University where she will be researching resiliency in children who have been victims of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Dr. Asomugha also serves on the executive committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics' Resident Section and the Postgraduate Physician's Section of the National Medical Association. She is an outspoken advocate for children especially the underprivileged and has been involved with various community-based initiatives promoting child health and well-being both nationally and internationally.
Mr. Richard Rozman
Mr. Richard is one of our directors and he has a wealth of knowledge in non-profit affairs.He has a BA degree in Economics and Finance from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). He has served and chaired several other non-profit organizations and has been of tremendous support in promoting and directing the affairs of the OWIN Foundation. He is the Vice President, Wealth Management Advisor and the Resident Director at the Merrill Lynch offices in El Segundo, California.
Mr. Frank Oti, B.S.
Mr. Oti is the president of SPEC Home Realtors in Gradena California. He holds a B.S. degree in Engineering and also holds a diploma and accreditation from Graduate Realty Institute. Mr. Oti is currently the director of Inglewood Board of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. He has served on the OWIN Advisory Board for over one year and has shown a wealth of interest and passion in helping the underprivileged especially in Africa.
Ms. Linda Jones-Hamilton
Ms. Linda Hamilton is a retired speech therapist who now resides in the city of Inglewood where she worked with the school district helping disadvantaged children through out her career. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Linda Hamilton is involved in several church and community activities and social issues. She volunteers for the Los Angeles (LA) Conservation Corp and serves in several other non-profit organizations. Her dedication is portrayed in her relentless effort to improve the lives of those she comes in contact with and to make the OWIN Foundation a success.
